Project Discussion & Assessment
We start by talking through your goals for the space and how you use it. Then we inspect the existing concrete — checking for cracks, pits, existing coatings, and moisture concerns — so we can recommend a coating system suited to your floor's condition.
Mechanical Preparation
We use diamond grinding to mechanically profile the concrete surface, removing weak surface material and opening the slab for a stronger coating bond. Proper preparation is the foundation of a coating that stays down.
Crack & Surface Defect Treatment
Cracks, pits, and surface defects are assessed and repaired with polymer menders before the coating system is applied. We flag any structural concerns that may need attention first so the finished floor performs as intended.
Coating System & Decorative Finish
We apply the specified coating system — a base coat, your selected decorative flake broadcast or metallic finish, and a protective top coat. Finish options are chosen to suit your space and how you use it.
Cure, Return-to-Service & Care Guidance
Cure and return-to-service timing depends on the coating system, temperature, and humidity. We provide clear instructions for when the floor can be walked on and used again, along with care guidance to keep the surface looking good. At completion we walk through the finished floor with you and answer any questions.
