A polyaspartic or epoxy garage floor is non-porous, so dirt, oil, and salt stay on the surface instead of soaking in. That makes maintenance dramatically easier than bare concrete — but a little routine care keeps it looking new.
Daily and weekly care
Sweep or leaf-blow loose dirt and grit regularly — grit is the main thing that dulls a glossy floor over time. A soft-bristle push broom or a foam squeegee is all you need day to day. For dust, a microfiber mop works great.
Mopping and spill cleanup
Mop with warm water and a mild household detergent when the floor looks dull or has visible staining. Because the surface is non-porous, oil, coolant, and chemical spills wipe up with a rag or paper towel without leaving a stain. There is no scrubbing or special cleaner required for day-to-day messes.
What to avoid
Avoid dragging sharp steel, heavy appliances, or tool legs directly across the floor — lift or use a dolly. Skip abrasive scouring pads and harsh degreasers, which can dull the top coat over time. Hot tires parked on a freshly cured floor (before the coating is fully hardened) can imprint — that is why we tell you to wait the full 24-48 hours before parking.
